On behalf of the family of Chris Goetzke, we want to share the difficult news that after being closed these past few months, The Tilted Tiki will remain permanently closed.

This is not the ending any of us hoped for, especially in what would have been The Tilted Tiki’s 10th anniversary year. Closing this chapter is heartbreaking. The Tilted Tiki was never just a business to Chris or to our family. It was a place filled with good food, good drinks, laughter, music, conversation, friendship and countless memories.

To our hardworking staff:
Thank you for everything you gave to The Tilted Tiki. Your hard work, loyalty, patience, personalities and dedication helped make it the welcoming place so many people came to know and love. Chris cared deeply about the people who worked alongside him, and our family is grateful for all you did to keep the spirit of The Tilted Tiki alive.

To our customers:
Thank you for supporting Chris and The Tilted Tiki over the years. Whether you were a regular, stopped in during a visit to Stillwater, celebrated a special occasion, met friends for a drink or simply shared a meal, you helped make The Tilted Tiki what it was. Your support, kindness and memories mean more to our family than we can fully express.

To the musicians who played here:
Thank you for filling The Tilted Tiki with energy, talent and life. Your music created so many unforgettable nights and gave people another reason to gather, stay awhile and enjoy the moment. Chris loved the atmosphere live music brought to the place, and we are grateful to every musician who was part of that.

To the Stillwater community:
Thank you for embracing The Tilted Tiki and making it part of the fabric of this special river town. Stillwater was more than where the business was located. It became part of the heart of The Tilted Tiki, and we are grateful for the support, friendship and community shown to Chris and to our family.

Most of all, thank you for the kindness, support and memories. We are grateful The Tilted Tiki was part of so many lives, and we hope people will continue to remember it with the same warmth, humor and spirit Chris brought to it.
